One whirl wind is over and another is about to begin. We are in the airport on our way back from market, and what a market it was. Sandy had a booth full of new quilts in her first fabric line 'Happy Ever After' for Riley Blake Designs.
We can't wait to share them with you.
Watch for details of some fun events we have in the works!
For the first time ever, Gardner Village will be hosting TWO bewitching weekends of Witches Night Out. Witches love
any excuse to have fun and throw a party and now the party has been
extended for two weekends - October 12th-13th AND October 26th-27th.
Ladies...join your fellow sister witches for the 11th year of Witches'
Night Out. Plan now to wear your most elaborate, crazy, fun, whimsical
witch’s hat or witch's costume. Gardner Village will be filled with
enchanting witches from 6 pm to 10 pm both nights, both weekends.Enter
the drawing for fun prizes at 7 pm and 9 pm nightly. Also enjoy an
emcee, dancing, music, food booths and more. Enjoy spellbinding
activities in our shops, and join the Witches' Parade at 8 pm nightly.
Join in the dance finale at 10 pm at the main stage. Leave the children
with the sitter and grab your witchy friends for this spellbinding
ladies night out. Ladies 18 years and older encouraged. Parking your broom can be hectic this time of year. Due to the
huge increase of traffic for Witches' Night Out, we must hire
professional parking attendants. There will be a $5 per car parking fee
beginning at 10 am on October 12th and 13th and October 26th and 27th.
This parking fee ONLY applies to these four dates during October.
Receive valuable Village coupons when you park. An alternative option
to parking would be to take TRAX this year. There's a stop across the
street from Gardner Village.
Another busy week here at Pine Needles, it seems shipments come daily around here. NOT THAT WE ARE COMPLANING, WE LOVE OPENING EACH AND EVERY PACKAGE THAT IS DELIVERED. It's really like Christmas every day :-)
Husband and wife team Randy and Sandy Workman opened the doors of Pine Needles in August of 1996. It began as a small cross stitch store and is now proud to carry all the wonderful necessities for quilting, cross stitch, primitive embroidery and Russian punch needle. Many of the items we offer are by local artisans whose work appeals to shoppers and tourists alike. Our walls are brimming with the promise of projects to be done.
