The Cutest Baby Shoes Ever!

Take a look at these DARLING baby shoes! The pattern is made by a new company called Curby's Closet. The main and lining fabrics are quilted together, and then the edges are cut using pinking sheers. The picture does not do them justice, you need to come in and see them in person. We have two different pairs on display. I just love them!

A Fabulous New Store in the Village!

We are so excited to introduce you to the store MiSh MaSh, another adventure from the owners of Sweet Aftons, Upon the Shelf, Anastasia's Attic and Pine Needles! MiSh MaSh is filled with home decor, gourmet foods, vintage inspired clothing, jewelry, aprons, purses, and MORE, an absolute feast for your eyes! MiSh MaSh is located next door to Anastasia's Attic on the main path in Gardner Village. Just in time for Moonlight Madness (Saturday, Nov. 21st 6pm-12pm), MiSh MaSh will be featuring one of a kind boutique style childrens skirts and embroidered holiday pillows priced to make your Christmas giving a lot let stressful!

We would like to invite you to come in and have a look around, but don't wait too long as MiSh MaSh will only be open through the end of the year!

MiSh MaSh is open for business Monday thru Saturday, 10:00am to 8:00pm from now until the end of the year. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Christmas Eve and New Years Even hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Jelly Roll Quickie

I have been looking at the delicious Jelly Roll I picked up at quilt market (It's Verna by their new designer Kate Spain) and just couldn't wait to make something any longer. I'm like most of you though and have a million things on my to do list for the day so I came up with a quick 30 minute project. I used my favorite new gadget, a gathering foot for my Bernina, and gathered 6 Jelly Roll strips down the center. I then layed them on a simple white background rectangle and sewed them down going over my gathering seam. Quick and fun! Now I to decide whether to keep it in my sewing room or give it to my daughter? Now on to that list.....
