What's New Wednesday

Well, we have some not so good 'new' around here - our dear Holly fell on some ice Monday and has a dandy of a break in her leg. Believe me, the x-ray of her leg is not for the faint of heart - she broke and displaced both bones and as I write this post she is in surgery, finally, to insert a steel rod and screws and fix her up.  She's a trooper though, within minutes of arriving by ambulance at the hospital she was instructing her husband that he was going to have to move her sewing machine upstairs for a while. Just can't keep her down.

This is a beautiful fresh new line with an over-the-top panel!!  Check out our model in the store and watch the video below to see how this panel makes creating a stylish apron a snap.

Ladies come and shop to your hearts desire and enjoy product demonstrations every half hour all evening long at Pine Needles during THE QUEEN OF OUR HEARTS event in GARDNER VILLAGE.  This Saturday, February 18th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.  Not only will our demonstrations be INSPIRING, with special kits for this event only, but we will also have FABULOUS Make 'n Takes for FREE!  So come and enjoy this fun event with Sandy and Holly pampering you for the evening, because YOU TRULY ARE THE QUEEN OF OUR HEARTS!

This Wednesday we are showing three quilt kits and one pattern set we have just marked down to amazing prices!!

Forget-Me-Knot

Forget-Me-Knot quilt by Cotton Way made using the fabric line Delilah from Free Spirit Fabrics.  The finished quilt measures 75" x 86" and has a sweet scalloped outer border.  Regularly priced at $74.95, it is now reduced to only $49.95. 

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope quilt by Cluck Cluck Sew made using the fabric line Hideaway from Moda.  The finished quilt measures 63" x 73".  Regularly priced at $73.95, it is now reduced to only $49.95.

Focus on Fun

Focus on Fun quilt by Peggy Bills made using the fabric line Hugs & Kisses from Windham Fabrics.  The finished quilt measures 56" x 56".  Regularly priced at $83.95, it is now reduced to only $57.95.








We also have a limited number of pattern sets for the block of the month quilt, Pockets of Posies, we completed a couple of years ago.  The patterns are by the very talented Australian designer Hatched & Patched.  Regularly priced at $113.00, it is now reduced to only $67.80.

Here's a little sneak peek at a DARLING little boy quilt that will be hanging in the store very soon!  The quilt is made using the fabric line Get Together that was designed by David Walker for Free Spirit Fabrics.

What's New Wednesday

Construction Strip Minky Quilt

This week there are LOTS of new models in the store.  We have new quilts, pillows, bags and even die-cut hearts for a last minute Valentine project or gift!

The minky strip quilts are a popular choice here at Pine Needles, and we have some new models to tickle your fancy.  The one pictured is a new model using a main print that has tractors, trucks, cars & even airplanes.  An absolutely DARLING quilt for the little guy in your life!

While at Winterfest we met Patty Howard, the designer behind a fabulous line of purses and bags.  We have some of her models hanging in the store (including the Real MaCoy bag and a darling scripture bag); they are sure to be must haves in your pattern collections.

One of our darling customers came in to show us a Valentine card she had made using our packages of die-cut hearts.  They were so sweet that several employees bought a package of hearts to take home that very day to make their own Valentines!

One of my personal favorite new items is the "Lotsa Love" bolster pillow.  I had so much fun making up the model for the shop, the embellishments are the perfect finishing touch (the picture does NOT do it justice)!

Judy whipped up a Charming Log Cabin quilt using the Fiona's Fancy fabric line by Lila Tueller for Riley Blake.  We think it turned out just beautiful!
