Prairie Point Tutorial

And don't forget, as well as providing this gift for the elderly at our selected care center, and the children at Shriner's Hospital your gift could result in a gift for yourself! Here's how, simply drop off your pillow cases to our store any time in 2010 and we will see that they are given to one of our worthy charities. Fill a Pillowcase Punch card, which is stamped for every pillowcase you donate, and you are eligible to win a $200 Pine Needles shopping spree to be awarded in December.

A Peak at the Porch

Home Again, Home Again Jiggity Jog

WOW! What a whirlwind of a weekend. Sandy and I, along with our Mom, attended International Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis, MN this weekend. Sandy had a booth with all of her Pine Mountain Designs quilt and embroidery patterns. Her latest designs are going to be hanging in the store very soon, including her most popular design at Market called "Laundry Day". And of course we brought plenty of new patterns, models and ideas back with us and we will be sharing those with all of you in the next few days!

But what we are MOST EXCITED about is the 'official' announcement that Pine Needles has been selected as one of the featured quilt shops in the Fall 2010 Quilt Sampler magazine by American Patchwork & Quilting!!!!!! We are sooo happy that we can finally share this news with all of you, as we have had to keep it a secret since February. More details to come on the celebrations we will be having as we count down the days until the release of the magazine in September.
