Hey, looks aren't everything and we can't do everything great. that is probably the saddest looking best tasting cake ever, lol!! chocolicious!!!!! mmmmmmmmm!!
Holly--I know this is a "scout" comment, but whenever my cooking looked less than appealing, my husband would always say---"Don't worry, just think of what it looks like AFTER you eat it!" I know, I said it was scout humor! Keep trying.
Husband and wife team Randy and Sandy Workman opened the doors of Pine Needles in August of 1996. It began as a small cross stitch store and is now proud to carry all the wonderful necessities for quilting, cross stitch, primitive embroidery and Russian punch needle. Many of the items we offer are by local artisans whose work appeals to shoppers and tourists alike. Our walls are brimming with the promise of projects to be done.

I tried to make a layer cake once and it looked very similar to that one (maybe worse). I'll stick to the big one layer type from now on.
Hey it's chocolate! Who cares what it looks like right???
:D
I feel your pain. I used to wish that I had ALL the talents, but have happily decided to enjoy my own and let others bless me with theirs!
