A group of quilters from Utah would like to
give memorial quilts to the families of Utah soldiers who have
given their lives defending freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Here's what you can do to help. Create a 12.5" block from red, white and blue fabrics,
OR you can sew a 12" finished
Civil War Block using either Thimbleberries or Civil War reproduction fabrics and return them to Pine Needles. Whether you can make one block or ten, EVERY BLOCK COUNTS, so please consider contributing to this cause.
It takes approximately 15 blocks for each quilt.
You may also donate batting or Civil War reproduction fabrics to Pat Moseman (
pmoseman@msn.com).
