A group of quilters from Utah would like to give memorial quilts to the families of Utah soldiers who have given their livesdefending freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. Here's what you cando to help. Create a 12.5" block from red, white and blue fabrics, OR you can sew a 12" finished Civil War Blockusing either Thimbleberries or Civil War reproduction fabrics and return them to Pine Needles. Whether you can make one block or ten, EVERY BLOCK COUNTS, so please consider contributing to this cause. It takes approximately 15 blocks for each quilt.
You may also donate batting or Civil War reproduction fabrics to Pat Moseman (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Husband and wife team Randy and Sandy Workman opened the doors of Pine Needles in August of 1996. It began as a small cross stitch store and is now proud to carry all the wonderful necessities for quilting, cross stitch, primitive embroidery and Russian punch needle. Many of the items we offer are by local artisans whose work appeals to shoppers and tourists alike. Our walls are brimming with the promise of projects to be done.
