“Wonky Freedom!” Wall Warmer.

Be the first to get Sandy's newest Wonky Quilt! In this fun two-part workshop you will learn the fabulous techniques used to create this Wonderfully Wonky wall hanging. Sandy will teach you how to make her fun Wonky Log Cabin blocks, easy-peasy hexagon’s, Dresden wedge grass strip along with the exciting embroidered applique quilt center. Don’t be intimidated - the techniques in this class are easy to master and will leave you wanting to make all the quilts in Sandy’s Wonky series. 

“Make It Mod”- Dresden Pillow
 In this workshop you will take a traditional Dresden Plate and make it modern with our mod fabric choices and fabric base. Your class will include the pre-quilted gray fabric base!! You are going to love how easy this Dresden Plate block is to create!

 "Needle Nest"- (knitting needle organizer!)
 If you knit, you have probably found that every time you decide on a pattern, you need a set of needles you don’t own. Before you know it, you’ve got quite a collection. So now how do you keep track of all them? Look no further. Come and make this knitting needle roll up which contains a pocket for your stitch markers or a counter, plus a slot for each of your needles.

“Cuddle Up"- Strip Quilt
 Love the feel of cuddle fabric but afraid to work with afraid no more! Come work
with pre-cut cuddle strips, using a quilt as you go method, to create this cuddly quilt. Get some great tips on working with cuddle fabric and see a new world of what you can do with cuddle fabric This is a great project for anyone to give as gifts or to cuddle with on the couch. A favorite of babies, teens, grannies and all the in-betweens!

"Grandmothers Flower Garden" - Heirloom Pincushion

Are you freaking out?! Isn't this heirloom pincushion TO DIE FOR!? Learn how to create you own hexagon shaped pincushion using hand sewing, simple hand applique, crocheting and beading.  This pincushion blends all genres from this workshop weekend into one breathtaking creation! You will not want to miss this class!



"Pretty in Paisley" - Cowl
This fun cowl is worked with two sock yarns.  The background is made with a self-striping yarn, with the paisley design created by using a darker, contrasting yarn.  Variegated yarn doesn’t work for this pattern, as the stitches for the paisley pattern will be “lost” in the short sections created by the variegation.  It’s fun, try it!

"Step into Color" - 2 Color Socks

Knitting socks is an art form.  Have you tried before?  Are you up for a good challenge?  Get your groove on and dive in!  This hounds tooth inspired, 2-colored sock workshop will “knock your socks off!”  You will learn how to strand these top-down socks, work a short row heel, and get all the tips you need to successfully knit this fun geometric designed sock.

 “Girls and Dolls” – 18” Doll knitted Cardigan Set
Do you have a special little someone who loves 18” dolls? Then get ready to make the present of the year! She will fall in love with the cardigan, hat, and leg warmers and you will fall in love with how fast and fun it is to make!

"Entralac-tastic"- Knitted Beanie

Have you looked at Entralac before and thought….yikes! Do you already know how to Entralac, but you would like more tips and tricks? Then get excited to take this fun workshop that walks you through the ‘ins and outs’ of Entralac as you learn to knit this Darling Beanie.

 ‘Lets get Wired’- Beaded Bracelet

Here’s an opportunity to learn to knit with wire? What?  Get ready to FALL in LOVE with this Beaded Bracelet Class! You will learn the tips and tricks to knitting with wire and placing the beads.  This will definitely be one of this years ‘Favorite Projects’. Who wouldn’t love getting this hip and trendy piece of art? Just think of all of the fun combinations! Fast, fun, and gorgeous…..this class is one you won’t want to miss!

“That Summer Dress is Sew Cute!” –Knitted Summer Dress

Summer is around the corner and everyone wants that fun one-of-a-kind summer dress.  We know you’ve been on the lookout already – Right?  This class will give you a project that incorporates fabric and knitting with “hands on” help from the expertsGet jazzed to learn how to knit the bodice with Gina.  Then, for part two of your class, you will learn from the sewing“gurus” at “Pine Needles” on how to measure, cut, and sew on your skirt to finish!  The perfect Spring projectdon't you think?!

 ‘Cables and Cardigans’-Knitted Cardigan

Do cables intimidate you? Then get excited for this great cardigan class that will incorporate cables. You will love the class almost as much as the size range…..the pattern goes from 0-6 months up to a women’s 4x! Wouldn’t it be darling to make a matching set for you and your special little person! 

“The Essentials” Knitted and Beaded Bag
Have you always wanted to work with beads? Everwished you could learn how to line a knitted project with fabric? Then get ready for a visit from your Fairy Godmother!  Your wish will be granted in this fun informative workshop! You will learn how to bead using a crochet hook and how to do a crochet bind off. Plus learn all the fun tips to block your project perfectly.  And hold the phone…the Pine Needles” experts will teach part two of this course, where you will learn how to sew the perfect fitted fabric liner! ( No worries if you don’t have a sewing machine, there will be plenty on site for you to use)

"Lace and Beads" - Beaded Cowl

Seriously! Come create a beautiful beaded cowl or scarf  (your choice). We’ll explore the provisional cast on/bind off technique, beading with a crochet hook and lacework while creating a simple and gorgeous accessory for all occasions and lightweight enough for all seasons.

“Put a Ring On It”-Hand-Stitched Vanity Ring

Get excited to stun all those you know with your 'mad' beading skills when you make this SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Vanity Ring. Create a complete, intricate beaded ring. You will receive loose beads and thread. The Vanity Ring design includes SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Crystal, fire polished beads and seed beads. Using a bead weaving technique, you will create a complete ring.  You can never have too much bling!

 “Ancient and Amazing”6 in 1 Chain Maille Bracelet
Precious Metals and ancient techniques combine for timeless jewelry with a contemporary flair. Chain Maille techniques were developed more than 2000 years ago to make armor. You will create a bracelet that highlights the natural beauty and symmetry of these techniques in a simple, easy to follow process.

“A Bone to Make” Herringbone Beaded Necklace:
 This standard stitch has been revamped into a wire worked bead. We will be teaching how to create this beautiful beaded necklace using many different jewelry techniques.

“From Russia with Love”- Russian Stitch Necklace

In this class you will learn how to create a complete, intricate beaded necklace. The "Fleur Papillon" design utilizes Czech fire polish and small seed beads, silver tone metal beads and components, using bead weaving (Russian Stitch or St. Petersburg Stitch), stringing, and wire looping technique, to create an intricate necklace.

“Weaving Chevron” -Swarovski Chevron Bracelet 
Create this beautiful Swarovski Crystal bracelet from scratch, using the Right Angle Weave, with a twist. The Right Angle Weave or RAW is a great starting stitch to teach you the art of weaving jewelry.

“Dolly and Me”Matching Beaded Jewelry
 Do you have someone special in your life that collects or cherishes their 18 inch doll? Come learn how to make a fully beaded matching necklace and bracelet for them and their doll.

 “The Knotty Secret” -Knotty Pearls
 Get ready to learn from the experts how to master the art of pearl knotting!. This jewelers secret will be revealed and simplified. We have the perfect tool for knotting in a hurry.

“Watch Out”-Charming Beaded Watch Bracelet 
Come get charmed as you learn how to turn a regular bead into a charm. This project really puts a spin on watching time fly, while looking good at the same time. You will learn so much and have the perfect project to make for gifts everyone will be talking about.

“Layer-by-layer” Beaded Necklace

This 5-layer necklace will incorporate many different styles of jewelry making, including: double ended wire wrapped loops, stringing, crimping and chain work. Get prepared to have all your friends 'layer' on the compliments when they see this darling necklace!

 " flippin' cute are these?! In this mini class you will learn to create your own unique Wee Woolie ditty bag. You are not going to believe how easy it is to create and how much fun to embellish. Perfect for holding your wee sewing, beading, or knitting notions. Use when you travel to hold you jewelry or keep one in your purse for those essentials. 

 "All Dolled Up" - 18" Doll Dress
Do you have a little princess in your life that loves 18" dolls? Then get ready to make the gift of the year! In this mini class you will make this adorable jumper top for your 18" doll. There are so many fun fabrics available you won’t know where to begin - or rather where to stop.....

"Fifteen Minute Fob" - Key Chain or Scissor Fob

Okay, so truth be told it only took me 2 minutes 54.7 seconds to make this key fob, yup I timed myself, so you are going to whip this up in no time. We’ll have a great selection of fabrics for you to choose from to make one for yourself or a friend. Use to hold your keys or hey, why not a favorite pair of scissors.

"Yo-yo Stitch and Go"- Bracelet
Learn how to put together this fabulous Yo Yo bracelet! You’ll learn how to cover the metal
cuff blank, stitch your Yo Yo’s then put it all together and add a variety of buttons & bling to take it up a notch! You’ll choose your favorite color pallet and dress it up any way you like!

"Put a Pin in it" - Crocheted Pin Cushion
Always wished you knew how to crochet? Then get excited to have your wishes granted!  In this introduction to crochet you will learn the basics and have a darling pin cushion to show for it! Warning: you just might fall in love with crocheting!
"To Dye For" - Yarn dyeing 101
Have you always wanted to learn the art of dyeing yarn? In this AMAZING mini class you will learn the tips and tricks you need to hand painting and/or injection dye two of your very own skeins!  Do both skeins the same or mix it up your choice! You will paint the yarn during class and get your skeins back after they have been steamed to set the dyes.

"Fabric Blooms" - Fabric Flower Embellishments
In this workshop you will make-and-take a variety of fun fabric and wool flowers. They are fun
and easy to make! Wear one as a broach, in your hair or add it to your fabulous knitted bag!

"I've always wanted to knit" - Intro to knitting

Learn how to knit in just this one class! Your life will be changed with just a knit and a purl!

"Beads Mark the Spot" - Locking Stitch Markers Mini Class

These locking stitch markers are perfect for any quilting or knitting.  They have a lever hinge that you will be able to attach and remove these at any time.  You will be able to choose your charm to fit your funky personality.  You will also be learning basic wire wrapped loops (the secret to earrings). 

"Step into Style" - Latter Stretch Bracelet Mini Class
This funky and unique bracelet adds a little pizzazz to any outfit. You will find by just changing the color or shape of the beads makes for a completely different look.  

"Pimp Your Clicker"  
Are you sick of looking at your ordinary row counter? (aka.The Clicker) Have you seen the tv show Pimp My Ride? Then get excited to have the Bead Farm show you how to transform your clicker from drab to fab.
