12 Days of Christmas Celebration!

I am so excited for Christmas!  It is my favorite time of year, I love spending time with family and friends and seeing the joy a small gift can bring each person I love.  I have so many gifts to sew for Christmas, and some I haven't even started yet!  Sound familiar?  Sometimes I just want to go shopping and get a little retail therapy rather than think about everything that needs to be done, avoidance and denial will help...right?

Because of my theory, Pine Needles wants to Celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas with you.  Beginning December 1st come into Pine Needles to receive your special "12 Days of Christmas" punch card. The card contains twelve numbered ornaments that correspond with a special discount.  Each time you come into Pine Needles from now until December 24th, you can choose which of the 12 discounts you would like to use.  Once the discount has been used, we will stamp the ornament on your "12 Days of Christmas" punch card.  Here is a list of all of the FABULOUS discounts that can be used:

1.    Receive 25% off one regular priced item
2.    For every two fat quarters you purchase at regular price,
         get a third fat quarter FREE

          (of equal or lesser value)
5.    Buy two patterns at regular price, and receive a third one FREE

8.    Buy one bundle of fat eighths, get a second bundle for FREE
9.    Receive 50% off one Pine Mountain Design cross-stitch kit,
         embroidery pattern, or quilting pattern (does not apply to books)
10.   Clearance fabrics - finish the bolt and save an extra $1 per yard
11.   Buy one yard of fabric at regular price, get the second yard
          for 50% off (of equal or lesser value)
12.   Receive 20% off one regular priced item

We have had so many of our out-of-town and online customers want to participate in the 12 Days of Christmas, that we are going to offer it to you in this way:  call us at the store to use the 12 Days punch card.  If you would like to use more than one of the discounts, simply call each day and let us know what item and which discount you would like.  We will keep a record of your name and your orders.  We can ship each item individually, or hold them all and ship them once you are finished using the punch card.  Hopefully this will allow everyone to participate!

Winter Storm Warning

Due to the National Weather Service's advisory of the winter storm heading the direction of the Salt Lake Valley, Gardner Village has made the decision to close this afternoon at 4:00pm.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but hopefully this will give you some time, and the excuse, to work on your Christmas projects!  Thank you.

Each year the Pine Needles' Elves have a busy Autumn designing, making & kitting DARLING 'quick gifts' for you to purchase and make for your neighbors, friends or even yourself, but only have time to make a limited number of kits. 
The Elves have been very creative, and promise fun and inspiration.  So come join us for our most popular event of the year!

Good Times!!

Wow!  Two weeks since our last post, can that really be right?!?  What a whirlwind!  To market to market.....home again, jiggity jig.  Sandy, our Mom & I spent five nights in Houston, Texas for the International Fall Quilt Market.  (Here we are at the Aquariam for a lovely dinner courtesy of Benartex)

We were not only purchasing the latest and greatest to bring home to Pine Needles, but were also debuting Sandy's latest designs under her label Pine Mountain Designs.  Her booth was filled with the oooooohhs and aaaaahhhs from store owners from all over the country.  At Pine Needles we have the pleasure of seeing Sandy's designs year round (and usually get to see new designs from her at least once a month), but others who only get to see them once or twice a year remind us how truly unique and inspiring her designs are.  It was so fun to be a small part of that while at Quilt Market.  She has many offers on the table, with many opportunities for amazing national exposure, and I for one can not wait for the world to know my EXTREMELY TALENTED sister!

I ordered so much fabric that I got 30 seconds in the booth to catch as much Fabric Cash as I could.
