Pine Needles in conjunction with American Patchwork & Quilting magazine is participating in the One Million Pillow Case Challenge as quilters, crafters and sewers across the country Make a Pillowcase to Make a Difference! We will be hosting 4 events in 2010, the first being our PAJAMAS & PILLOWCASES PARTY on Friday, March 26th hosted by Pine Needle’s Sandy Workman, Holly Draney and Wendy Nygren and held a special Gardner Village location. Don your pajamas and slippers as we sew into the night for a worthy cause in our community. We will start at 6:00 pm and sew the evening away. Every pillowcase sewn that night makes you eligible for one of two $25 Pine Needles gift certificates to be awarded at the end of the evening. There will be good food, fun prizes, a slipper contest and so much more. Space is limited so sign up quick. There is no charge. Pillow case kits will be available for purchase but please feel free to bring your own fabric.
Can’t attend our party? That’s OK, bring your pillow cases to our store any time in 2010 and we will see that they are given to one of our worthy charities. Fill a Pillowcase Punch card, which is stamped for every pillowcase you donate, and you are eligible to win a $200 Pine Needles shopping spree to be awarded in December.
