Home Again, Home Again Jiggity Jog

WOW! What a whirlwind of a weekend. Sandy and I, along with our Mom, attended International Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis, MN this weekend. Sandy had a booth with all of her Pine Mountain Designs quilt and embroidery patterns. Her latest designs are going to be hanging in the store very soon, including her most popular design at Market called "Laundry Day". And of course we brought plenty of new patterns, models and ideas back with us and we will be sharing those with all of you in the next few days!

But what we are MOST EXCITED about is the 'official' announcement that Pine Needles has been selected as one of the featured quilt shops in the Fall 2010 Quilt Sampler magazine by American Patchwork & Quilting!!!!!! We are sooo happy that we can finally share this news with all of you, as we have had to keep it a secret since February. More details to come on the celebrations we will be having as we count down the days until the release of the magazine in September.

May Celebration Specials for the 4th week of May

We are taking some of the specials offered earlier in the month and honoring them this week! The following quilt kits will be discounted at least 30% off:
  • Panache
  • Perfect Ten
  • All Wrapped Up
  • Balance of Nature
  • Put the Kettle On
  • and Gathering

We will also be offering 30% off the following fabric lines (and don't forget that the discount also applies to any kits using these fabric lines):

  • all Civil War prints
  • all 30's prints
  • Happy Campers by Moda
  • American Vintage by Windham
  • Frolic by In the Beginning
  • Old Primrose Inn by Moda

For more details on each special, scroll down to the three previous posts.

FINALLY, don't forget this weekend's annual Memorial Sidewalk Sale at Gardner Village. The sale begins Saturday from 10am to 8pm and continues on Monday from 10am to 6pm.

Congrats for being in the magazine in September...you really deserve it...you're one of my favorite shops...and I live in Nevada so don't get to visit often...but visit every chance I get!

How exciting, congratulations! If I buy a quilt magazine that's usually the one I pick.

I am not surprised at all that you have been chosen for the quilt shop magazine! You ladies ROCK!

PS, just wanted to share that one of my favorite things about your shop is the little basket of squares. I love that I can buy little squares for applique and scrappy projects and have a wide variety without breaking the bank! I pick up my $3 worth every time I visit!

You are my FAV shop, even though we live in Colorado everytime we go home my DH knows to allow time and room in the trunk for Pine Needles. Also while you were gone I called and spoke to Celcia (sorry if I misspelled your name) asking about a older Moda fabric. Not only did she go 10 extra miles for me, but called me back and gave me the info of: Winter 2008 by Minnick and Simpson. No one even the store that posted the fabric on their photo shoot for a magazine knew what it was. So way to go once again for being the nicest, most informed store around. You girls rock.
Hugs,
Vicki
